EFT Protocol
1. Think about a problem that is troubling you. On a Scale of 1 - 10 how would you rate it?
2. Choose a set-up statement: "Even though I have this (describe the problem) problem, I fully and completely accept myself." Repeat the set-up statement three times while you tap firmly on the karate chop point.
3. Select a reminder phrase from the set-up that will help you to stay tuned in to the problem. Say it over and over while you tap about seven times on each point from the crown of the head down to under the arm. Then do that again.
4. Rate how troubling the problem is now. If it has gone down, repeat with a revised version of the set-up statement and reminder phrase. (For example, even though I still have some of this ...")
5. Check the level again.
6. Keep repeating until you are down to zero.
